Why I Write in English

. . . and not in my mother language, German.

Looking for help with my writing, I noticed a big writing culture in the US, but none to speak of in Germany. I’m only speaking romance writing here, of course! Romance writers in Germany are as numerous as watering holes in the Sahara.

Since I had been reading English novels for years and kept having trouble pushing down the English expressions in my mind and dragging up the German translations instead, I decided to start writing in English. By doing so, I can use all the resources in the American market.
