Avalon Authors
A group of Avalon Books Authors has joined and created a blog. Have a look behind the scenes — we’re discussing many aspects of a writer’s life.

Book Editor Elizabeth Lyon
Elizabeth straightened out my very first mistakes and helped me find my way in the publishing industry. A gold mine of information!

Elisabeth Rose
Lis is one of my “shelf-mates” – that’s how we called ourselves when we realized that our books would be published in the same cycle of our publisher Avalon Books. At the RWA conference 2009 in Washington DC, she came from Australia and I from Germany to meet for the first time . . . Romance travels the world.

Shirley Marks
Shirley is another shelf-mate from Avalon Books. We met at the RWA conference 2009 and had a wonderful time.

Shelf-mates Marilyn, Shirley, Beate, Lis at the RWA conference 2009

Mike Nettleton
Editor and Author — who masters the art of correcting a manuscript without making you blue.

Bed & Breakfast in Florence
Mariangela is the owner of this most personal, stylish and welcoming Bed & Breakfast in the heart of Florence, Italy. One of my favorite places!

Margaret Damele Elam
My writer friend across the ocean . . . who taught me how to make words sing.

Jerry Beare
My friend, writer/editor, Margaret Elam just finished a year long project with her partner, Jerry W. Beare, Sr.. His book, Parenting: A View from the Therapist’s Chair is now in print.

Bina Bambolina
Bambolina is Italian for little puppet, but don’t even start to think it has anything to do with puppets as you know them. These puppets are not for cuddling. Made out of fabric scraps, they are rarely larger than 15cm / 6 inches, have no faces, but eyes, and are arranged in stunning combinations before being mounted in frames. My sister is the artist, and I wrote the texts for her website.
