Dear friends,

This year has been truly wild: I started a new day job in January, moved with the family across state in February, got fired in April, started a new job in July . . . and only now, the dust is slowly setting. I’m always happy if life is interesting, but I have to admit that this year has been interesting enough and that I wouldn’t mind a little boring stretch right now. :-)

That’s also why I haven’t joined in the new edition of Sweet Christmas Kisses (the short story collection with plenty of romance that you may remember from the two previous years), but my author friends have put up another amazing collection! The launch party will be on Facebook, and you can join in if you follow this link:

The goods news is that I’ve started to write the sixth mystery in my series “Temptation in Florence”. It’s fun, and this time, the relationship between Carlina and Stefano will be taken to a whole new level. However, I’ll still need some months to finish, and in the meantime, I wanted to draw your attention to a newsletter that will bring you a free mystery every month! You can subscribe right here: https://mysterythrillerblog.wordpress.com/about/

These mysteries cover the whole range from cozy to thriller, so you’ll have plenty to read!

AND I also wanted to tell you that the first mystery in the series “Tempation in Florence”, called Delayed Death, will be free on iTunes all through the next week, until the end of the month! (Aug. 22 to 31). Grab your copy while you can! https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/delayed-death/id1112280707?ls=1&mt=11

If you’d like to have a free copy and don’t use iTunes, let me know, and we’ll find a solution!

If you have read it already and liked it, I would appreciate a review, no matter if it’s on iTunes, Amazon, or Kobo. Reviews make a huge difference for authors because they influence the visibility in the shops!

As always, I’d love to hear from you, and I hope that your year has been less stressful than mine.

Let’s keep in touch!

Beate
